Brad Cranfield – Love, Life and An Easier Way!
From his second season on The Block in Melbourne to renovating his relocated home in Bishopsgate, Brad hasn’t slowed down, but he’s happy to be spending time back with Lara. Find out some tips and insights from Australia’s hardest working reality TV star.
Congratulations on your marriage to Lara! How is married life?
BC: Well, I’ve only been home a few months since The Block. We’ve hardly had anytime together since we got married, so it’s good to be together and spending some quality time together. We’re catching up now.
What was it like on The Block a second time around?
BC: It was a completely different experience and a lot more draining mentally. While the first block was a lot of work, physically with demolition and renovations, this had a lot more with new builds and planning. It’s always exhausting, but a lot of fun. Of course we knew what we were getting ourselves in for as well.
What’s the key to seeing a project become successful?
BC: It’s sticking to your guns. Have a clear plan and cautiously map out how to make your vision happen, and then keep edging that goal. It’s easy to get distracted. Remember what your plan is and keep focused.
The Block opened a lot of opportunities to you and Lara. Why choose McDonald Jones Homes as a company to endorse?
BC: We did a lot of research. We had a number of people we knew of that had built with McDonald Jones and they had nothing but great feedback. It’s important for us to support a local company as well. They completely back their product, which is standout. We’re halfway through our renovation and often I think, that’s it tools down, let’s just build with McDonald Jones.
