Australia’s leading builder McDonald Jones Homes has given Mark Hughes 50,000 reasons to smile today with a decision to donate to his brain cancer foundation.

McDonald Jones Founder and Director Bill McDonald said he was inspired by the mateship of Paul Harragon and his commitment to help raise money for Mark during his appearance on ‘I’m a celebrity get me out of here’.

“The Hunter region is renowned for its mateship spirit and these values are something we pride ourselves on at McDonald Jones Homes so we feel it is only fitting that we help the Mark Hughes Foundation reach its goal of raising $100,000,” Bill said.

“For McDonald Jones the Hunter is our backyard and Mark and Paul have done so much for the community over many years, this is our way of saying thank you to them and to the thousands of people who have supported our company.

“I know Mark and Kiralee were a little surprised when we called them this morning to inform them of our decision to top up the $50,000 the Chief received from Brendan Fevola.

“Through the McDonald Jones Charitable Foundation we will also be looking to raise a further $50,000 to give to Mark’s foundation when we hold our regular trade night charity event later in the year,” Bill said.
